The Sony Xplod CDX-M10 is a basic marine audio head unit. It features a front auxiliary input that can take a signal from any device that can output to headphones, such as an iPod. The CD player can play regular audio CDs or disks of MP3 and WMA files.

The front faceplate is detachable, and is UV coated to resist wear from the sun. The conformal circuit board resists moisture, salt, and other contaminants. 54 watts of power is output to 4 channels, and an additional Rear/Sub selectable pre-out is included for optional additional amplifiers.

installation is pretty easy, most people comfortable with a screwdriver can handle it
does a good job resisting damage from a few splashes of water
CD player is reliable and doesn't skip even under rough conditions
