The Sony Xplod CDX-HS70MW is a marine audio head unit built for extreme conditions. It has been certified with the IPX5 standard, allowing it to withstand 12.5 meters per minute of water for 3 minutes in all directions.

It is also certified to withstand exposure to salt and UV rays, making it suitable for trips on the ocean. Using an included USB cable full control of an iPod can be accessed through the front panel, and control is handled via a clear display and large knob. Satellite and HD radio can also be accessed via an external adapter. This unit plays MP3, WMA and AAC formats.
