It slightly builds from the CDX-GT540IU by incorporating green-lit keys that are easier to see and use in the dark. Otherwise a duplicate of its predecessor, the CDX-GT640UI supports Satellite/HD radio and iPods. Plus it is versatile with its formats, as it can handle MP3s, WMAs, and iTune AAC files. Included also are selectable preouts for an external amp or subwoofer, RDS data broadcast information, and ultra-fast song searching and selecting via a Quick-BrowZer.
