The Sony Xplod CDX-GT240 is an entry-level car audio A/V head unit and CD player. Designed to accommodate a single CD disc, the receiver supports MP3 and WMA files, as well as AM/FM radio tuner bands. However, the unit is primarily designed for attaching a portable music device via auxiliary, upon which users can listen to their stored music files without having to deal with an FM transmitter.
