The Cons:No information about incoming calls are displayed. Track data is not displayed while playing music over Bluetooth. Requires manual disconnect/connect for mp3 streaming.

 The Sony MEX-BT2700 is a head unit with a 1-line LCD display. It has a detachable faceplate which is a great feature for theft prevention - removing the faceplate and putting it into the glove compartment will deter casual theft and breakins to the car.

It is ready for satellite radio, HD radio and iPod control. It has rear/sub selectable pre-outs, front auxilary input, 2-volt front and EQ3 stage 2. The Sony MEX-BT2700 has profile support for HPF, A2DP and AVRCP. It has bluetooth audio streaming functionality and hands-free calling, making it one of the more affordable head units that are capable of that.
