Pioneer FH-P8000BT

$330.00 Released January, 2009

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Installation is easy enough for people with only moderate technical skills. Design is sleek and modern looking. Audio output is clear and distinct, makes the most of your OEM speakers.

The Cons:User interface is a little unusual, takes some time to learn. Pause is buried in a function submenu.

The Pioneer FH-P8000BT is a double-din, car-audio CD receiver with a 200w (peak) and 4-channel MOSFET amplifier. Standing out on its own (group-wise), the Pioneer FH-P8000BT is essentially an upgrade from the weaker Pioneer DEH-P5100UB.

Where to Buy

First and foremost, the FH-P8000BT features built-in Bluetooth Wireless technology with “wireless audio control and streaming (AVRCP, A2DP)” so that users can control and listen to compatible audio players or music phones through their head-unit. In addition, the FH-P8000BT utilizes advanced Echo-Cancellation for clearer phone audio, an advanced Sound Retriever that more clearly restores compressed MP3/WMA/iTunes AAC music files, and USB Direct Control for easy file searching, file transferring, and file playing. The FH-P8000BT also supports phone pairing (up to three simultaneous Bluetooth-compatible cell phones at once), 3 Hi-Volt RCA pre-outs (front, rear, sub) for adding external amps and speakers, two-way crossover with separate high/low pass settings, an AM/FM tuner with SuperTuner III technology for reduced distortion, an OEM display, and a wireless remote control. The Pioneer FH-P8000BT retails for a more expensive $330.00 (versus $260.00) and comes with a 1 year limited warranty.
