Released April, 2009
The Pros:Sound output is always clean and true, no distortion. Subwoofer controls offer a few good options, great for external amp setups. A number of display options to make it look just the way you want it to.
The Cons:A little slow reading MP3 discs, takes a few seconds to scan the whole thing before it can do anything.
The Pioneer DEH-P740MP is a basic CD player and radio head unit. This is similar to the Pioneer DEH-P7400MP, but the faceplate has been redesigned with more flush controls. While the features are almost all identical, the RCA Preouts have been boosted to offer 4 volts to optional front, rear and subwoofer amplifiers.
