Pioneer DEH-P6500

The Pioneer DEH-P6500 is a mid-range AV head unit/CD receiver similar to the Pioneer DEH-P6300. The DEH-P6500 boasts a number of improvements over the DEH-P6300, most notably a Multi-Color Organic EL Display (as opposed to the DEH-P6300's single color Organic EL display) and a Supertuner IIID digital radio tuner (as opposed to a Supertuner III).

Otherwise, the DEH-P6500 and DEH-P6300 sport the same basic feature, including CD-R/RW compatibility and XM satellite radio readiness.

The DEH-P6500's Multi-Color Organic EL Display provides vibrant, full colour menus and song information that are clearly visible in even direct sunlight. Its Supertuner IIID provides the DEH-P6500 with superior signal strength by combining the best of analog and digital radio signals while also eliminating multi-path noise interference. Additionally, the DEH-P6500's CD-R/RW compatibility allows for playback of homemade mp3 CDs.
