Pioneer DEH-P6000UB

The Pioneer DEH-P6000UB is a well-priced, car-audio CD receiver with a 200w (peak) and 4-channel MOSFET amplifier. The seventh of seven Pioneer DEH receivers, the Pioneer DEH-P6000UB is an upgrade from the Pioneer 5100UB in that instead of just being Bluetooth compatible, the DEH-P6000UB in fact features built-in Bluetooth so that a user can directly plug their cellular device right into the unit to make phone calls.

Unlike its peer, however, the DEH-P6000UB maintains only a regular 13-character LCD display versus an extra-large OEL display. Nevertheless, the DEH-P6000UB still packs a punch considering its three RCA Hi-Volt pre-outs for front, rear, and sub connections, not to mention a two-way crossover with separate high and low pass settings.

The DEH-P6000UB also boasts a CD player that plays CDs, CD-Rs, CD-RWs, and discs loaded with MP3, WMA, and iTunes AAC music files. Plus, the DEH-P6000UB features an easy-to-use 7-way rotary commander control to quickly search through songs, an advanced sound receiver that more accurately plays back compressed MP3/WMA/AAC music files, and an AM/FM tuner with SuperTuner III technology for reduced distortion. The DEH-P6000UB also sports a front auxiliary port and USB port for connecting various portable devices, an included iPod connection cable, a parametric 3-band equalizer, and a wireless remote control. The Pioneer DEH-P6000UB retails for a more expensive $260.00 (versus $210.00) and comes with a 1 year limited warranty.
