Pioneer DEH-P4000UB

$180.00 Released January, 2008

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Sound reproduction is fantastic - playback is clear and balanced, with an emphasis on bass response. Remote control promotes vehicle safety - minimizes physical interaction for better road attention. Supports regular Apple iPod cable - users do need to purchase the additional Pioneer connector.

The Cons:External device control tends is fairly slow - may cause a considerable amount of lag depending on device and content type. Some hardware/menu elements seem counterintuitive - many users - even those with considerable audio experience - will find themselves frequently referencing the manual. Volume wheel is relatively hard to operate - thin, slippery design is not conducive to safe level adjustment.

The Pioneer DEH-P4000UB is an in-dash CD receiver with USB connection for your iPod and an AUX in input for other digital music players. Pioneer's Advanced Sound Retrieval system enhances audio reproduction up to 20 kHz frequencies, restoring the lost sound in compressed MP3/WMA files etc.
