The Pros:It does work with older iPods. Voice control works very well. With 2.0 firmware update, the boot up time is significantly faster.
The Cons:Doesnt work with older pioneer xm units. Doesn't store enough phone book entries. MSN direct on this unit very limited compared to cheaper garmin units.
