Panasonic CQ-C800U

$330.00 Released March, 2008

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Menu layout is excellent - folders are clearly labeled and easy to navigate in and out of. Unit is very reliable - many users report years of consistent performance with significantly less problems than competitors from Alpine and Pioneer. 5-volt preamp outputs ensure top-quality audio reproduction - music is preserved without any negative "coloring" as sometimes experienced with lower-level units.

The Cons:Seemingly overpriced for the feature set - similar models from Alpine and Pioneer are available for considerably less.

The Panasonic CQ-C800U is an in-dash multi-format CD player that supports AAC, MP3, WMA, and CD-R/RW playback and is a step up from Panasonic's CQ-C700U.  The unit features a fully-motorized, removable front panel and a customizable wide 3DDM color OEL display with 4096 colors compared to the blue display of the CQ-C700U.
