Panasonic CQ-C800U
$330.00
Released March, 2008
The Pros:Menu layout is excellent - folders are clearly labeled and easy to navigate in and out of. Unit is very reliable - many users report years of consistent performance with significantly less problems than competitors from Alpine and Pioneer. 5-volt preamp outputs ensure top-quality audio reproduction - music is preserved without any negative "coloring" as sometimes experienced with lower-level units.
The Cons:Seemingly overpriced for the feature set - similar models from Alpine and Pioneer are available for considerably less.
