Panasonic CQ-C700U

$200.00 Released May, 2008

Product Shot 1 The Pros:RCA input is ideal for iPod/Mp3 players users - significantly better than radio transmitters and cassette adapters. Dedicated subwoofer control is great for eclectic listeners - enables users to set low-end levels from song to song. Adjustable face angles provide sufficient visibility in varying sunlight conditions - quick maneuverability promotes safe driving.

The Cons:Some users report occasional power intermittence - unit may cease to power up when vehicle is started, even when properly installed. Not compatible with older XM satellite radio receivers - some users will be required to purchase a brand new unit.

The Panasonic CQ-C700U is an in-dash multi-format CD player that supports AAC, MP3, WMA, and CD-R/RW playback and is a step up from Panasonic's CQ-C500U.  The unit features a customizable 3D Dot Matrix display with a fully-motorized, removable front panel compared to the non-motorized 7-color display of the CQ-C500U.
