Nakamichi CD 300
$190.00
Released January, 2002
The Pros:Buttons have a great feel, all solid and give good feedback. Interface takes very little time to learn. Controls are comfortable to use while driving.
The Cons:There are two versions: one with RDS and one without - difference is often unspecified. No way to change the illumination, no dimming with headlights on. Removable face forces it to stick out and look like it isn't integrated properly in the dash.
The Nakamichi CD 300 is Nakamichi's first MP3 head unit. It handles CD, CD-R/RW, and MP3s. Incorporated into the design is a feature called RDS, a release button whose primary goal is security.
