The former, HD radio, lets users tune into higher quality digital radio stations that output more natural audio with less over-the-air static. Pandora Internet radio, on the other hand, lets users with an iPhone use the Pandora Internet radio app to access Internet radio stations. Like other premium Kenwood A/V receivers, the KDC-BT948HD also includes Bluetooth wireless technology, so that users with a Bluetooth compatible phone can take handsfree phone calls. Unfortunately, there is no support for A2DP, which means these phones cannot stream audio. Mind you, there are also USB and auxiliary ports for listening to music from other sources like iPods and MP3 players.
