The Kenwood KDC-BT848U is an integrated, single DIN in-dash automobile A/V receiver released as an upgrade from the KDC-BT648U. It maintains the same core features, but adds along a variable illumination function that lets users adjust the lighting so they can better see it in different conditions.

Plus users can fine-tune the colors so that they fit his or her car’s interior decoration. Like its peer, the Kenwood KDC-BT848U offers a radio tuner for listening to AM and FM stations, a CD player for playing MP3 and WMA songs, and USB and auxiliary ports for listening to their MP3 player, iPhone, or iPod. The core feature though is Bluetooth, which lets on-the-go professionals drive more safely by using their car’s stereo speakers to take and receive calls.
