Kenwood KDC-348U

The Kenwood KDC-348U is a head unit designed for iPod compatibility and to accept input from a number of other sources. This is similar to the Kenwood KDC-248U, but has 3 separate 2.5 volt RCA preamp outputs for external amplifiers.

While they both provide full control of a connected iPod or iPhone, this model also includes iTunes tagging capabilities and an expanded 13 digit display for song information. In other ways they are the same, including a CD player that handles regular audio CDs and burned discs with MP3 or WMA files. The front AUX port also enables the use of external medial players through their headphone jacks. A remote control is also included for basic control of the head unit's features.
