Product Shot 1The Kenwood KDC-248U is a head unit designed to offer control of an iPod or iPhone as well as accepting input from several other sources. This is similar to the Kenwood KDC-348U, but has a single 2 volt preout and doesn't allow iTunes tagging.

They are the same in most other respects, including a front-mounted USB port that enables the use of USB storage devices for file playback as well as direct control of an iPod or iPhone. A front AUX input is also available for expanded external device support. The CD player accepts burned discs with MP3 and WMA files as well as standard audio discs, and the AM/FM radio has a series of preset buttons along the front.
