The Kenwood DPX308U is a an integrated, in-dash automobile A/V receiver designed as an affordable replacement to a factory built car receiver. It doesn’t support videos, but it includes a very large display nonetheless so users can keep a steady track on what’s playing, including artist and song data.

In addition, the display features variable color illumination, meaning users can adjust it to fit their own car interior. More importantly, the DPX308U receiver features an integrated CD player that supports various file types, meaning users can play regular music CDs, as well as CDs with WMA, MP3, and AAC (iTunes) songs as well. Plus the receiver offers several additional ports for connecting other devices like MP3 players and even iPhones and iPods. A user with an iPod can in fact charge his or her iPod, and even use the USB Control port to access iPod functions directly from the receiver itself.
