The Kenwood DDX512 is a mid-range audio/visual head unit. In addition to playing DVDs, the 6.1 inch screen can display CD or radio information and can provide full control of a connected iPod. Two pre-amp outputs for front and rear or subwoofer are included to allow additional amplifiers, and a full AV output is also available for external displays.

An AV input is available for external devices, as well as an AUX input for portable audio players. This unit comes ready for optional navigation units, and can be upgraded to work with Bluetooth cellphones as a hands-free device. Both HD radio and SAT radio can also be added with additional accessories.
