JVC KD-HDR60

$190.00 Released January, 2010

Product Shot 1 The Pros:FM radio quality is exceptional - sound is exceptionally clear with minimal signal interference/intermittence amongst local stations. HD channels provide remarkable high-quality audio - sound is balanced and well-defined, with a noticeable increase in stereo width. USB drive support is excellent - users report successful, instant playback of audio from flash drives and external hard drives alike.

The Cons:HD radio is prone to intermittence/drop-outs when signal strength weakens - may cause considerable user frustration depending on level of interference. Software menus and dedicated hard buttons are fairly cumbersome - file navigation lacks intuitive qualities and certain physical components are awkwardly-small.

The JVC KD-HDR60 is a basic car stereo with expandability built in. Similar to the KD-HDR40 it receives HD Radio and is Satellite radio ready, but it also has a USB 2.0 port for interfacing with an iPod or iPhone.
