The second of two KD-AVX models, the KD-AVX77’s ultra-powerful display can display aspect ratios of up to 3:32:1 for a super-wide Cinemascope viewing experience. The monitor can also display multimedia video and AV input content at the same time in split screen mode. Plus, the KD-AVX77’s monitor functions as a full touch-screen, thereby allowing the entire TFT panel to dual-task as the receiver’s control panel.
It should also be noted that the KD-AVX77’s multifunctional monitor features a built-in electrostatic proximity sensor that illuminates the screen when the user approaches it with their hand, not to mention that the monitor includes the “world’s first layout selectable GUI” that allows users to customize their favorite “key” types, colors, background design, or upload their favorite JPEG pictures onto the screen to further personalize the display. In addition to the aforementioned bevy of features, the KD-AVX77 is HD Radio Ready, Satellite Radio Ready, and Bluetooth compatible, and in fact comes equipped with a USB Bluetooth adapter (receiver, transmitter, antenna) and a high-quality external wired microphone for hands-free phone calling and wireless audio streaming.
The KD-AVX77 also boasts a Full-Speed USB 2.0 port for iPod/iPhone music selection and control that is further enhanced by JVC’s new 2-way iPod control which allows users to control their iPod/iPhone from either the music player itself or from the receiver’s control panel through play, pause, skip, and back commands. Furthermore, the KD-AVX77 comes equipped with a CD/DVD player that supports WAV/MP3/WMA audio files, DivX/MPEG1/MPEG2 video files, and JPEG picture files. Lastly, the KD-AVX77 offers a Dual Zone / Dolby Digital 5.1 Channel surround decoder, a standard AM/FM tuner, a built-in MOSFET amplifier with a 200w max power output, a 7-band iEQ, and a wireless remote.
