The JVC KD-AHD59 is an in-dash car-audio receiver that features a built-in MOSFET amplifier with a 200w max power output. The fourth of five JVC KD A/V head units, the JVC KD-AHD59 is a switch from its predecessors in that it offers a 7-band iEQ versus a 3-band iEQ.

In all other ways, however, the JVC KD-AHD59 is quite similar in fact to the JVC KD-A605. For instance, the KD-AHD59 also features a variable-color illumination display, not to mention a Full-Speed USB 2.0 connection with 2-way control for iPod/iPhone(s). In addition, the KD-AHD59 sports a CD player that supports traditional CDs, CD-Rs, and CD-RWs, plus those outfitted with MP3 & WMA music files. Another notable feature of the KD-AHD59 is that it comes equipped with a built-in HD Radio tuner with iTunes Tagging and Multi-cast capability that delivers enhanced AM/FM sound quality described as being equivalent to listening directly from a CD. Plus, the KD-AHD59 is Bluetooth compatible and Satellite Radio Ready. Lastly, the KD-AHD59 boasts a wireless remote, a detachable face, 5V pre-output terminals, a 24-bit digital-to-analog converter, and an auxiliary port that provides easy connection with digital audio players and other external devices. The JVC KD-AHD59 retails for $159.95 and comes with a 1 year warranty. Additional service plans are available for a fee.
