Product Shot 1 The Pros:All functions are responsive and well designed, doesn't take long periods of time to process anything. Unit looks sleek and impressive in the dash. Sound is great, lots of power and great clarity.

The Cons:Takes a little while to scroll through song titles to find the one you like. Installation is a little tricky, best left to experienced installers.

The Clarion VX709 is an in-car multimedia A/V receiver which is an upgrade to the VX409, providing up to 200 watts of peak power.  The receiver is designed with a fully motorized 7" color LCD monitor that has adjustable brightness and touch panel controls for easy operation.

  It supports playback of DVD-R/RW, CD-R/RW, MP3, AAC, and WMA files, and is also DivX certified with DivX media and video playback.  The receiver has built-in Bluetooth handsfree and audio streaming and includes Magna Bass EX technology for enhanced bass.  The VX709 features a built-in AM/FM tuner and has separate front and rear source controls for 2-zone entertainment.  It is also satellite and steering remote ready and supports iPod direct control with the optional adapter.  The receiver has a suggested retail price of $1000 and comes with a remote control.
