The Cons:Unpopular color choices with the bezel. No CD playback capabilities, tape and radio only. Doesn't have anti-hiss technology for tape playback, always a bit of hiss in the background.

The Boss C3040 is an in-dash auto-reverse cassette receiver offered by Boss Audio. It has a detachable front panel which features an active black mask display and quartz digital clock. It has an auto-reverse tape deck to enjoy your vintage casette collection and there is also a built in PLL synthesizer tuner with 24 station presets.

  To control the output sound, bass and treble are seperated and there are preset EQ response curves as well as balance and fader controls and stereo/mono and local/distance switches. It has dual RCA outputs (front and rear) and gives 60 watts of power to each of the 4 channel outputs and also has a Bassmax subwoofer output. The Boss C3040 ships with both Black and Silver frames to match your vehicles interior.
