The Pros:Remote control is compact and easy to use - minimalist layout is conducive to safe, in-car control. Sound outputting is clear and powerful - 85 watts-per-channel handling is conducive to larger configurations.
The Cons:Instruction manual is brief and confusing - most users will require the assistance of a professional installation service. Display is seemingly prone to intermittence problems - video signal phases in and out due to finicky flip system. Virtually impossible to use during the day - glossy screen coating reflects even minimal amounts of sunlight.
The Boss BV9972 is an in-dash DVD/MP3/CD receiver with flip-out 7" monitor. The disc player is capable of playing CDs, DVDs and almost any other format you can throw at it, including MP3, MP4 WMA and writable discs.

For added connectivity there is a USB and SD memory card slot as well as a front AUX input to easily enjoy music off any portable audio player using a standard headphone jack. There is also a built in PLL synthesizer tuner with 30 station presets and is switchable from US to Europe radio frequencies. It has a 7" touchscreen TFT monitor with active matrix display witha resolution of 1400 x 234 pixels and is motorized to flip out. To control the output sound, bass and treble are seperated and there are balance and fader controls. It has dual RCA outputs (front and rear) and gives 85 watts of power to each of the 4 channel outputs and also has a subwoofer output. Other notable features include a rear view camera input, remote control, anti-theft removable control panel and an AV input in the rear.
