Product Shot 1The Boss Audio BV8855T is an in-dash multimedia receiver that includes AM/FM, DVD, MP3, and CD compatibility.  The receiver features a 6.2" widescreen touchscreen with a motorized fully detachable panel.

  It also has integrated USB, SD, and AUX inputs, a built-in TV tuner, and is NTSC/PAL compatible.  The BV8855T has an output power of 320 watts and comes with a wireless remote control.  The only difference between this model and Boss' BV8860B is that the BV8855T includes a TV tuner but is not Bluetooth enabled, while the BV8860B is Bluetooth enabled but doesn't include a TV tuner.

bcojoe: #boss_audio_bv8855t I got my own answer after emailing the manufacturer. Here is their answer...

"Thank you for your interest in BOSS Audio Systems. At this time there
are no digital TV tuners that will work consistently while the vehicle
is moving. We will not offer a DTV tuner until we can develop one that
is mobile."

I'm glad I happened to think about asking this question. I for one would be disappointed if I bought one of these with the TV tuner, a model only introduced 8 months before the demise of analog TV, and found out next February that the TV tuner was no longer of any value. Nov 4, 08
