The Boss Audio BV8550 is an in-dash multimedia receiver that includes AM/FM, DVD, MP3, and CD compatibility. The receiver features a 5.5" widescreen touchscreen with a motorized fully detachable panel.

It also has integrated USB, SD, and AUX inputs and is NTSC/PAL compatible. The BV8550 has an output power of 320 watts and comes with a wireless remote control. The Boss BV8555T is identical to this model except that it includes a TV tuner while this model does not.
