The Cons:GPS system tends to need to reset itself on startup. Takes a long time to calculate routes to destination. Not enough tactile button controls - relies too heavily on the touch screen for UI.
The Alpine IVA-W203/P1 in-dash unit combines media capabilities with GPS navigation, making it one of the most multi-functional ofAlpine's 2008 models. With inputs that allow use of iPods, Bluetooth cell phones and external gaming systems, as well as 2D and 3D maps with turn-by-turn directions, the IVA-W203/P1 looks to be Alpine's "jack of all trade" model.

Because the NVE -P1 navigation system is removable, consumers have the option of placing it in another vehicle should the need arise (additional Alpine hardware is likely necessary to do so).
