The Alpine CDE-100 is an entry-level, in-dash automobile player that supports CD, MP3, WMA, and AAC formats. Included is a front-mount auxiliary input and USB port for hooking up an external portable audio device like an MP3 player; a pre-amp for connecting to a high-powered external amplifier; and a subwoofer out for finishing off one’s sound system with a sub.

Signature to the CDE-100 is its detachable faceplate, which provides extra security. Additional features include DIN mounting for easy installation, a tuner with 4 presets, and an optional remote control.
